Hi, I’m Harald an Industrial Designer with over 10 years of experience.
Designer Vitae
My Story
I completed my studies as a product designer in 2009. Since then I have been working as a designer in several design agencies and enterprises.
During my studies I worked as an intern at the milanese design studio Attivo Creative (now Tatic design studio) which is working for enterprises like Salewa, Scubapro, Seacsub, Marker, Gardena and Emsa. I mainly worked on projects from the field of sporting goods, kitchen tools and gardening tools.
During my diploma I got in contact with MAN Trucks. As a trainee I started to generate ideas to optimize the drivers workplace. Some of my ideas were patented and realized.
For a few month I designed as a freelancer furniture for an Asian company, worked on medical design projects and domestic appliances.
After that I worked as an employee at the design agency Henssler & Schultheiss on projects for the „Fein GmbH“, „Endress & Hauser“ and „BYK Gardner“.
Since 2012 I’m working for the design agency loew design and have realized many products in the field of road constuction machinery, medical devices, tools and electronic devices.

My Approach
I see myself as a generalist, a versatile designer practiced in lateral thinking, who loves his work. I’m 100 % motivated and offer a high level of creativity. The quick visualization in 2D as well as the routine handling in CAD are both skills I have mastered during my past 10 years as an industrial designer.
During my design process I’m always aware of the diverse functional levels of design itself. With great interest I watch the newest technologies and trends, which I try to integrate into my work.
It’s a pleasure for me to work in a well functioning team as well as being responsible and handling independent work.

Beyond My Job
I am passionate about nature, sports, and music. Over the past three years, I have embraced bikepacking, completing long-distance trips through the Pyrenees, Northern Italy, Southern France, and the Spanish Sierra Nevada.
As a dedicated sports climber for more than 20 years, I have explored numerous climbing crags across Europe.
After decades of playing the guitar, I switched to drums six years ago, further expanding my musical creativity.
